We will replace any dog purchased from us that developed an active case of one of these diseases during the time of the guarentee. Our 2 year guarentee is limited to the above listed genetic conditions.
We provide a limited one year (1 year) health guarantee on hips, knees, elbows, and patellas. This guarantee excludes damage to knees, elbows, hips, and patellas caused by injury, abuse, slipery floors, or abnormal activity.
If any dog we have sold, developes an active case of one of the diseases, or joint conditions listed above within the time that condition is covered under our guarantee, we will replace the dog with a dog of equal value (not to exceed the original purchase price), from a current or future litter (at the breeders discretion), after recieving written diagnosis from two licensed veterinarians. (Your veterinarian and ours.)
NOTE: Being a carrier for a genetic disorder does not equal having a genetic disorder. Dog must have actually developed the disease, not merely be considered at risk for it, and liscened veterinarians must determine that the cause is genetic in order to qualify for a replacement.
We provide no health guarantees for preventable diseases such as rabies, parvo, distemper, and other preventable dieseases.
Our pups will come wormed and up to date on vaccines, and it is the buyers responsibility to ensure that their dog continues to receive regular worming and vaccinations.
If buyer fails to provide regular worming and vaccinations, all of the above guarantees are null and void.
Breeder will not replace the dog if it dies from neglect or abuse. If the dog dies from accident, starvation, dehydration, exposure, or illness due to being fed insufficiently, not being wormed, or sickness cause by failure to vaccinate appropriately, the breeder is not liable and will NOT replace the dog.
All herding breeds are sensitive to certain medical drugs. It is the buyers responsibility to be aware of these drugs as listed on our page under Health Concerns on the MDR1 Chart and to share that information with their veterinarian. Even though a dog may be clear from MDR1 they can still suffer injury or death from these drugs. If a dog is administered one of these drugs and suffers injury or death, the breeder is not liable and will NOT replace the dog.
